Unsolicited Idea Policy

Southland Organics appreciates individual interest in submitting ideas, proposals, or suggestions. Southland Organics has many projects under development at any given time and it is possible that unsolicited ideas or proposals could be submitted to Southland Organics which are already under consideration or may already be in the planning stages. Southland Organics associates are not authorized to accept or consider unsolicited ideas, suggestions or proposals including ideas for new advertising campaigns, new promotions, new or improved products or technologies, product enhancements, processes, materials, marketing plans or new product names.

Please do not send any original creative artwork, suggestions or other works, except under the circumstances of an Offical Southland Organics Artwork contest. The sole purpose of this policy is to avoid potential misunderstandings or disputes when Southland Organicss’ products or marketing strategies might seem similar to unsolicited ideas submitted to Southland Organics. Please do not send unsolicited ideas, proposals, or suggestions to Southland Organics or anyone at Southland Organics. In the event Southland Organics does receive unsolicited ideas, proposals, or suggestions, regardless of statements which may be made in the correspondence received, the following terms shall apply to all unsolicited idea, proposal, or suggestion submissions.

All individuals submitting unsolicited ideas agree to the following:

(1) Unsolicited ideas will automatically become the property of Southland Organics, without compensation to individuals making the submission;

Information Collection & Use

Orders

If you purchase a product from Southland Organics, we request certain identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date).

We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.

We do not store your credit card information. LiveWire Technologies dba Southland Organics is the SOLE owner of the information collected on SouthlandOrganics.com. We do NOT share information with ANY third-party.

Security

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number) on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Payment Information

In order to process your Credit Card orders, we use eMerchant Solutions, a third party service, to validate & verify your account information.
All billing and account info is transmitted via https which is a secure encrypted protocol system.

Uses of Information

We use the information we collect from you for billing purposes and to fill your orders. We do not store your credit card information. If you have created a Username and Password to the site or if you have signed up to receive our Email Newsletter updates we may use your purchase history to personalize special offers and promotions. These offers and promotions will be delivered to you in the form of an email newsletter.

Legal Disclaimer

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Web site.

• Southland Organics guarantees all merchandise 15 days from the receipt of your shipment.

• We only accept exchanges on damaged goods. Please contact us and the shipping provider immediately if you receive damaged goods.

• Damaged goods must be reported within two business days of delivery.

• Returned items must be as you received them: labels intact, and in the original box and/or packaging.

• DEFECTIVE merchandise or INCORRECT shipments will be free of shipping charges if promptly exchanged, exchanges will only be responsible for shipping the product to the Southland Organics Warehouse.

• We do not offer cash refunds and cannot process exchanges for items that were not purchased on SouthlandOrganics.com.

• Return shipping is absolutely free for defective items sent.

We offer 3 UPS and US Postal Flat Rate shipping options for domestic shipments:

1. UPS Ground
2. UPS Air 2-Day
3. UPS Air Overnight
4. USPS Flat Rate

Unless you specify otherwise, we ship UPS Ground to all street addresses in the continental U.S. Please allow 3 to 8 business days for delivery.

We are happy to expedite your order via UPS Air Overnight. To insure you have your product by the weekend you should place your order no later than Thursday, 12:00 PM EST.

Please note: We do not offer delivery on Saturday or Sunday.

Addresses in HI and AK must be shipped using:

1. UPS Air 2-Day
2. UPS Air Overnight

UPS does not ship to P.O. Box addresses.
UPS does not deliver 2-day shipments on holidays or weekends.
*We do not deliver to APO addresses at this time.

For Canadian Orders we ship using only:

1. UPS Ground*
* Also The payment of duties and taxes is the responsibility of the importer.
Brokerage fees for orders under $200 CAD will pay $10 CAD, higher orders
will pay a discounted but slightly higher rate.

We process and ship orders by 12:00 PM EST Monday thru Friday. When your order has shipped from our warehouse you will be e-mailed a confirmation and UPS Tracking Number.

It is the responsibility of the customer to inform UPS of special delivery instructions or change of address.

We ONLY ship to the United States or Canada.
