Position Overview
Southland Organics, a locally owned and family-operated small business, is seeking a motivated, adaptable, and self-starting individual to join our team as an Operations Coordinator. Located on a picturesque 65-acre farm, our office offers a unique and inspiring work environment surrounded by fields, flowers, a compost operation, and a market garden.
This is a part-time position with the potential to grow into a full-time role for the right candidate. As part of our small business, you’ll enjoy a dynamic and flexible workday with opportunities for professional growth in operations, sales, or marketing. After demonstrating excellence, this role offers the flexibility to work from home 1-2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities
Sales Support:
- Manage and organize weekly contact lists to support sales efforts.
- Sort and prioritize new leads and customers using our CRM system.
- Assist with follow-up efforts to nurture leads and enhance customer engagement.
Marketing Assistance:
- Maintain and update CRM data, ensuring all customer information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Chart and track sales activities to provide actionable insights.
- Help create and implement follow-up campaigns to boost engagement and retention.
Customer Service Support:
- Act as a backup for online chat support, responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
- Collaborate with the customer service team to ensure a high standard of client interactions.
Payroll and Commission Assistance:
- Support payroll processing and assist with commission calculations.
- Keep accurate and organized records of employee compensation and commission reports.
Office Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office, including managing supplies, correspondence, and scheduling.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
Inventory Control Assistance:
- • Monitor inventory levels and assist with reporting discrepancies.
- • Support inventory audits and maintain accurate stock records.
