Depending on your location and weather challenges, the colder months can be a time of rest or catch up. We understand that soil needs rest and nourishment. If the grass is dormant, we apply a heavy application of Genesis every 8 weeks until soil temperatures reach 60 degrees.

This provides ample carbon for activity repair and preparation.

Proper carbon levels and microbial activity are essential to building an optimal soil structure regardless of grass type. Omega contains a safe, natural mixture of these designed to fuel soil to counteract the stress of long, arduous seasons. Omega also unlocks existing nutrients and maximizes uptake from previous applications to promote a fertile growing environment that makes the most of your other inputs. It will aerate soil to continue delivering oxygen to the root zone and relieve soil compacted from mechanical stress.

Fall & Late Summer Applications

Revival is the ultimate compost accelerant, liquid aerator and microbial dethatcher.

Breathe life back into your greens as aerification takes place late in the hot season or as temperatures first begin to drop. Aerification is necessary, but it also adds more stress. This recovery solution helps greens heal faster from aerification and extends championship playability later into the year.

Fall applications of Revival prime for winter months and springtime by amplifying beneficial bacteria in soil that stave off fall-forming diseases. Adding a strong microbial punch ensures destructive bacteria and fungi are held at bay by competitive exclusion and less able to feed on excess soil nutrients.

Biologically Active Organic Carbon

Perhaps the most significant differentiator with Southland Organics products is the living, natural soil microbes. Our base formula contains 20+ microbes that fix nitrogen, solubilize phosphorus and solubilize potassium.

We can balance a bacteria dominated formula and a fungal dominated formula based on the pH buffering during extraction. The fungi benefits the root zone of the plants to extend root zones and increase nutrient uptake.
