BIRDS LOVE IT!
I really like this supplement and so do my birds! Very easy to mix and the hens seem to love it. I have only used it twice but I feel like the birds will greatly benefit from it.

I am loving this product. I gave everyone a sample. Mostly bought it for our current meat birds but I put some in everyone's water this week. So far, meat birds and hens are sending rave reviews.

I have faith that this product will work for me. I have not had a full grow out using BOB, catalyst and MotherLoad during the same flock. I have used BOB and MotherLoad in previous flocks and performed well.

Q: can you run catalyst and mother load together

A: I don't see why not. Most people run it together with Big ole Bird as that is how it is designed but should be no problem running with Mother Load. JUST WATCH the sticky content in the water lines though. These two together might clump but most likely will not.
Q: About how many teaspoons are there in the catalyst powder, 800g bag?

A: A lot! 😆. "There are approximately 286 teaspoons in an 800g container of powder, using the common conversion for powdered supplements (1 teaspoon ≈ 2.8g)." If that is "too much" you might want to look at the liquid Catalyst bottle.
Q: I’m wondering what the shelf life is, of the vitamin powder vs the liquid version? I’m presuming the powder has a longer shelf life? And what’s the best way to store- in the refrigerator? Thanks!

A: Hi Ellen! Great question. The shelf lives are the same for the liquid and powder versions of Catalyst (about 18 months from when you receive the product). However, the powder form is a lot more product and will last longer in terms of dosage. If the powder is exposed to moisture, it will harden over the months and become hard to use. This is why we recommend the liquid formula to folks with small flocks—it will not harden or become unusable, just shake it up and it's ready to go! But if you have a larger flock that you think could go through nearly all 800 grams of the powder in a year or so, that's a better choice. In either case, you can just store it in a cool, dry place.
